Marlijn Franken: Amsterdam-Dakar
Marlijn Franken is underway. A fascinating search to form, material and color,
resulting in textilesculptures, pictures and video(installations).
Discipline-overschrijdend. During the biënnale Dak’Art, may 2010, she shows her
work on three locations in Dakar, Senegal and in
Dak’Art Off… talking about boundries!

Inger Kolff makes grown still washed ink drawings which brings the viewer over
the border of reality.
Each subtle picture points to a personal tale. Within the viewer is completely
free.
Fresh tension, direct with speed drawn, is tangible. Still her work is a rest
harbour for the eye.

Tonie van Marle toont haar serie “Weird Technology”, objecten voornamelijk
opgebouwd uit computeronderdelen; een verliefde
knipoog naar de wereld van computers en electronica. Anderzijds is zij
gefascineerd door wetenschap, waarin zij zich niet laat leiden
door orthodoxie, maar door fantasie.

Monica van Rijn heeft een spontane stijl van schilderen en laat veel aan toeval
over. Kleur en vorm zijn opgebouwd uit transparante lagen.
De silhouetten verwijzen naar antieke culturen en nemen de kijker mee over land-
en tijdsgrenzen van vergeten tijden.
Haar werk bestaat uit schilderijen, fascinerende boek-objecten en kunstkluizen.

The exposition "OVER GRENZEN" takes place in the drive-by showroom on the Johan
van Hasseltweg in Amsterdam Noord.
To the repertoire of Dutchartists belong artperformances, dance performances,
expositions and workshops.
